Terms of Service

1. Accounts and responsible use

You must be an adult able to enter into this agreement. If you act for a business, you must have authority to do so. Keep your account details accurate and protect access to your account.

Do not submit unlawful, harmful, deceptive or infringing content; impersonate others; manipulate votes or traffic; spam users; or interfere with the service or its security.

2. Listings, badges and review

Standard submissions are free and require sign-in, accurate product information and the website badge verification shown in the submission flow. A badge verifies that the expected link was found; it is not an endorsement or proof of ownership. Ownership claims are reviewed separately.

Paid launch plans replace the badge requirement: Fast launch costs USD9 once, and Featured launch costs USD15 once and adds seven days of Featured promotion. Both are reviewed within 24 hours of confirmed payment. Payment does not guarantee approval. Fast launch payments are non-refundable, including when we decline the launch. If we decline a Featured launch, we refund it in full. Featured launch promotion starts when the approved product launches. The badge waiver stays with that product after the promotion ends.

An editor reviews each submission and may request changes, reject it or correct details. Requested launch dates need approval; schedules use UTC. Editor-added listings are identified separately from founder launches.

Approval, review timing and continued listing are not guaranteed. Listings may be removed for violations, misleading information, unavailable products or a valid rights complaint. You can request a correction or removal through support.

3. Your content and rights

You retain ownership of your submitted content. You confirm that you have the rights to submit the descriptions, logos, images and links. You give IndieDaddy a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to host, reproduce, format and display that content as needed to operate your listing and related IndieDaddy promotion.

This permission does not transfer ownership of your brand. On removal, we stop new use of the removed content, subject to existing communications, backups and records we need to retain. Tell support if you believe a listing infringes your rights, identifying the material and your authority to make the request.

4. Paid promotion

Paid bookings are available. These terms apply to every paid booking.

Featured promotion covers one approved product: USD15 for seven days, paid once without automatic renewal, or USD39 per calendar month with automatic renewal. Monthly promotion starts after payment is verified. Weekly promotion starts on the confirmed UTC date. Your booking includes a rotating hero spot, sidebar card and labelled highlight in matching launch listings. Rotation and responsive layouts mean continuous display or equal impression totals are not guaranteed.

You can cancel monthly renewal in your campaign dashboard. Cancellation stops the next renewal; the paid promotion continues until the current period ends. Your approved free listing stays after promotion expires.

Request a full refund before your campaign starts. After it starts, refunds are limited to undelivered time if IndieDaddy fails to deliver the booked placement. Canceling renewal does not itself refund the current period. Contact [email protected] with your order reference for a refund request. Applicable mandatory refund and consumer rights remain unaffected.

Paid placement never changes organic votes, rankings or tie-breaks. Payment does not guarantee editorial approval, traffic, sales, search indexing, a dofollow link or any increase in Domain Rating. Newsletter placement is not included unless explicitly stated in the offer.

5. External products and information

Listings help you discover third-party products. Their owners control their products, prices, availability and terms. Research and editorial inclusion are not warranties or endorsements. Check the current details with the provider before purchasing.

Activity figures are estimates and may be affected by bots, repeat activity, blockers or technical limitations. They are not guarantees of unique visitors or results.

6. Availability and responsibility

IndieDaddy may change or be interrupted. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as is, without warranties of uninterrupted availability, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, IndieDaddy is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the directory or third-party products. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Changes, privacy and support

We may update these terms and will identify the new version date. Material changes will receive additional notice where required; they do not retroactively change a confirmed booking's agreed commercial terms without a lawful basis or agreement.
